How do I know which Coaching programme will be right for me?
There are many coaching providers offering training in Coaching and Mentoring.  More and more organisations are looking for a recognised standard of quality to determine the professionalism and their ability to deliver high quality coaching.

At Intuition we pride ourselves on developing an accredited internal coaching capability and have worked hard to gain approval/endorsement of our awards through the ILM and EMCC.

What makes your programme different from other providers?
We value our clients’ needs and know how difficult it can be in choosing the right training provider and the right course.  As coaching has no regulating body it is becoming increasingly difficult for organisations to identify the best coaching solution for them.  This is why Intuition have worked hard towards gaining accreditation through the Institute of Leadership and Management (ILM) and the European Mentoring and Coaching Council (EMCC) external accreditation.

Who are the ILM ?
The ILM are a European Market Leader in the delivery of Management and Leadership qualifications.  Their endorsed programmes add value by providing industry wide recognition.

The process ensures that learners receive a robust qualification that has been regulated by the Governments National Qualifications Framework.  This further assures that our qualifications are high quality well designed and fit for purpose

Who are the EMCC?
Intuition is also proud to be an organisational member of the EMCC and a holder of the Quality Award at Practical level for our ILM Level 5 programme.

The European Mentoring and Coaching Council (EMCC) has been established to promote best practice and ensure that the highest possible standards are maintained in the coach/mentoring relationship, whatever form that might take, so that the coach/mentoring environment provides the greatest opportunity for learning.

All Intuition programmes are mapped against the EMCC competency framework.

What measures do you take to remain ethical in your standards?
Ethically we strongly believe and promote the EMCC Code of Ethics which looks to promote best practice and ensure that the highest possible standards are maintained in the coach/mentoring relationship.  The code covers five core areas, competence, context, boundary management, integrity and professionalism.

There are many training organisations offering Coaching.  At Intuition we have worked hard to get our qualification approved so that people can trust in the process and be confident in their ability to coach to a high standard and fosters excellence.

What are the differences between the  ILM Certificate and the Diploma programmes?
The ILM Level 5 and 7 Certificates require you to complete three mandatory units which consist of a work based assignment, personal reflection and a coaching/mentoring diary.    The ILM Level 5 & 7 Diplomas require you to complete four mandatory units.  These contain three of the units from the certificate plus an extended period of coaching and mentoring in the workplace. For more details please go to our accredited training section.

How will I know which course to choose from?
This depends on your own coaching and mentoring experience.  If you’re not sure please contact us so we can work with you to identify which course would be best for you.

We offer courses at three levels:

Level 3 qualifications focus on the skills and knowledge required to coach team members effectively in the workplace and develop their performance.  All study at this level includes time devoted to practical coaching, with the option to convert the basic award to a certificate through further hands-on coaching experience.

Level 5 qualifications are aimed at managers responsible for coaching or mentoring newly appointed managers and professional and senior technical staff. For those wishing to develop their careers as professional management coaches, a further unit requiring 100 hours of supervised coaching converts this certificate into a diploma.

Level 7 qualifications are aimed at Senior Mangers/ HR/OD professionals who want to develop their expertise and credibility in the fields of coaching and mentoring, or to establish coaching on an organisational level.  Participants can also access the Diploma by completing the same unit as the Certificate.  The only changes would be in the third unit which requires 100 hours of additional coaching with supervision and reflective review instead of 20 hours.

Where do you hold these programmes?
